Bundy Born in Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 1, 1910. Education: Lancaster, Ohio High School; B. S. degree from Otterbein College, Westerville, Ohio; Ph.D. from Ohio State University. Married the former Hazel V. Forwood of Springfield, 111., 1936; four children, John (16), Suzanne (14), Freda (12), and David (8). Home address: RD 7, Schenectady 2, New York. Fields of specialization: physics, mechanics, optics, radiation, heat transfer. Joined GE Research * Laboratory in January 1946. Present position: Research Associate, Mechanical Investigations Section. He is the author or joint author of many technical publications within his field of specialization. Dr. Bundy is a fellow of the American Physical Society and the Acoustical Society of America and a member of Sigma Xi. In 1945 he received the Naval Ordnance Development Award and in 1947 an Army-Navy Certificate of Appreciation. He is a member of the Adirondack Mountain Club and the Mohawk Soaring Club. His hobbies are listed as camping, canoeing, gliding and soaring, gardening, volunteer fire company, and school committee. H(oward) Tracy Hall Born in Ogden, Utah, Oct. 20, 1919. Education: Studied at Weber College, University of Utah, Bowdoin College, M. I. T., and Purdue University. B. S. 1942, M. S. 1943, Ph. D. 1948, all obtained at the University of Utah. Doctorate obtained under Henry Eyring. Married the former Ida-Rose Langford of Ogden, Utah; six children, Sherlene (12), H. Tracy, Jr. (10), David R. Fields of specialization: physical chemistry, coordination compounds, rate theory, high polymers, ultra-high pressure, high temperatures. Employed two years as a physical chemist by U. S. Bureau of Mines. Joined the General Electric Research Laboratory in October 1948. Present position: Research Associate, Mechanical Investigations Section. He is the author of many technical publications within his fields of specialization. Dr. Hall is a member of the American Chemical Society and Sigma Xi. During World War n he served as an ensign in the U. S„ Navy. He serves as Albany-Hudson District Councilman, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Gardening is listed as his hobby. Herbert M. Strong Born in Wooster, Ohio on Sept. 30, 1908. Education: Wooster High School; B. So from Toledo University; Ph. D. from Ohio State University. Married the former Ruth Hazlet of Columbus, Ohio; two sons, Kirk (16) and Steven (14). Home address: 1165 Phoenix Ave., Schenectady, New York. Wentorf, Jr. Bown in West Bend, Wisconsin on May 28, 1926. Education: Northwestern Military and Naval Academy, Lake Geneva, Wis.; B. S., Ch. E., and Ph. D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin. Married the former Vivian Marty of Milwaukee, Wis.; one child, Jill (9 mo.). Home address: 2011 Garden Drive, Schenectady. Field of specialization: physical chemistry. Joined the GE Research Laboratory in December 1951. Present position: Research Associate, Mechanical Investigations Section. Dr. Wentorf is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Sigma Xi.
